Dermal filler treatment for lips and cheeks in Apple Valley, MN

Dermal Fillers

Restore volume, redefine contours.

Dermal fillers restore lost volume, smooth folds, and enhance facial contours — fuller lips, lifted cheeks, a defined jawline — with results that look balanced and natural.

Is Dermal Fillers Right For You?

As we age, the face naturally loses hyaluronic acid and subcutaneous fat, leading to hollowing, flattened cheeks, and deeper folds. Fillers replace that volume at the source, restoring structure rather than simply masking lines on the surface.

Fillers suit adults seeking lip enhancement, cheek restoration, jawline or chin definition, or smoothing of nasolabial folds. They are not appropriate during pregnancy or nursing, or for those with certain allergies.

How It Works

The Treatment

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic-acid-based gels injected beneath the skin to add volume, lift folds, and refine contours. Ashley Beadling, NP places each injection with precise anatomical knowledge to enhance your natural proportions. Treatment takes 30–45 minutes.

What a Session Feels Like

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. You'll feel pressure and mild pinching. Mild swelling or bruising is normal for a few days; results are visible immediately and settle over two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do dermal fillers last?

Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last 6 to 18 months depending on the area and product used. Lips tend to metabolize faster (6–9 months), while cheeks and jawline can last a year or longer. We'll build a maintenance plan at your consultation.

Will fillers make me look overdone?

No. Ashley Beadling, NP takes a conservative, layering approach — you can always add more at a follow-up. Our philosophy is natural enhancement that respects your facial anatomy, never the overfilled look.

What is the difference between a ½ syringe and a full syringe?

A ½ syringe ($350) is ideal for subtle lip enhancement or fine-line correction. A full syringe ($600) provides more noticeable volume or treats larger areas like cheeks and jawline. We'll recommend the right amount for your goals.

Is there downtime after fillers?

Most patients return to normal activities immediately. Mild swelling and bruising are common for 2–5 days, especially in the lips. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
